Primetime Politics: Trump’s Address, Election Integrity, and the Battle Over the SAVE Act

I'm your host, Peter Pappas, in studio with the lovely Laura Musler. Hello, hello. Good to see you, good to see you. this fine evening of humid, miserable weather. I like it when it's warm. I I like the warmth. Yeah, I yeah, I'm not so much a fan. So you have too much fur on your body. I really do, I really do. So Well, we had one or two little technical glitches, but I have new toys in the studio. You sure do. What a fantastic job you've done so far. It's I'm excited. I I came in and I said, you got a new toy. Like new toys and stuff. But so how was your last week? My week was very good. I got a job. Excellent. Congratulations. Thank you. I start on the twenty seventh and I spent the entire week labeling my closet and and Yeah, you got a job. Now let me get some other jobs at the house. well I just like if I want a white shirt, it's like white tank tops, white t shirts, white button downs, like short sleeves, mini sleeves, no, all the way so all my white shirts are together. All my blue shirts. How long does it stay that way though? If once I get it that way, it'll stay that way. But the idea was when I brought stuff in I I d had a different organization system. it was all tank tops together and then it was like I'm looking for tank tops. Now you did it by color. Now I did it by color. All right. Yeah. All right. Nice, nice. What but the problem is that as I do laundry I pile it up because I don't want to have to sort all through it and put it away. So I end up with a stack of clean laundry because I don't wanna But the laundry stack is not but the colors are all the same, right? the colors are all the same? Yeah, well, kind of. And then I have to take one a blue and then go put the blue shirt, but whatever, yeah. That's w that's where I I dropped the ball. Excellent. Excellent. Well what do you about what about you? Did you go to Merby? yeah, I visited. but well we'll talk about that off air. But I will say last week I spent building my real estate team. Yay. the two ladies are doing excellent job. Good. I haven't wanted to strangle either one of them yet. I know that's coming. It's gonna come. You just close your door like you did when I was in the office. It's small team dynamics. Okay, it's gonna happen. But you know, we're we work well together and they're doing a really good job. So look for Pappas Realty in your neighborhood anytime soon. So I'm excited. Well, so you know, we have a lot to talk about tonight. we this I'm just looking at the list of stuff we're gonna talk about. So Yeah. A rare prime time address, twenty four minutes demanding that Congress pass the Save America Act was Thursday night new evidence. Or old grievances with a new classification stamp. Did you watch it? Yeah, I did. But you know, usually primetime addresses that's that used to mean like war or a crisis. But Thursday night, President Trump used one to tell America it can't trust its own elections without an act of Congress. So whether you cheered or you cringed, that speech just became the centerpiece of the twenty twenty six midterms. And North Carolina is center stage with the Watley Cooper. I I agree that's this is going to be the most expensive Senate campaign ever, supposedly. Whatever. So you watched it live? I watched yes. I did Okay. Which network? I watched it on, believe it or not, Newsmax. I I don't watch Fox C and N H. I I wa I like Gutfeld Show and I like the five, just because like they have a Democrat on there and I wanna see what they say. Other than that, no. Okay. I I just find that they're be on be known. Laura Musler is not a Republican that doesn't care what the Democrats want to have to say. that's true. I do, I do. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, I watch Newsmax OAN. I go back and forth between the two of them just because they actually keep up to date with things happen throughout the day. And I find that Fox talks about the same five or or six stories over and over again. You learn nothing new. And I did realize I downloaded some news apps how much news our stations don't tell us. Right. It actually clicked with me with the Do you have do you have the Newsmax or not not Newsmax, News is it Newsbreak app on your phone? I have Newsbreak that's the one that sends you like nine one one clips from local restaurants and stuff. Yeah. People call nine one one for a burnt sandwich or something. yeah. So I watched it live. I watched it on the Fox app that was on the Roku T V 'cause I won't pay for cable anymore. but I have not. So I was gonna ask you 'cause I know you love your nerdy and do stuff, you know what was in the classified release or declassified release. I was too busy organizing my closet. I never went to the whitehouse dot gov, but I that that is on my list of things to do is go to whitehouse dot gov and look up the documents to see exactly what he's talking about. Okay, okay. Well, let's cover some things that he did discuss on Thursday night. Citizen verification, photo ID, auditable paper records, are that they're safeguards, not suppression. and then we can talk about the networks, how they refuse to carry. I I think that the networks are one hundred percent wrong. And by the way, because I actually had this conversation with family members, if this were true, you would see it in the news or your if you didn't see the speech and listen to the speech and go and negotiate like I haven't made my decision on the speech because why? I haven't investigated what he said. So I'm leaving it open to be true or not true. I'm guessing that he if you do put the documents up there that it's gonna go ahead and be true. Right. But if you were watching if you watch NBC and or CBS or CNN and didn't watch the speech, but are listening to the people tell you what he said in the speech and what to think about the speech, then if you don't believe that the media is corrupt and Well, it's a telephone game. Yep. Everybody has an opinion and everybody puts their own spin on it. I mean, come on, it was twenty four minutes. It was not that complicated. So yeah, we have an interloper here and Oops. Yeah. Okay. I I see I have a prankster in the studio apparently. Or they don't realize what they're doing. Or they don't. Yeah. No, she knows. She's smart. She she knows exactly what she's doing. Picked wrong TV. I I see you. Yeah, see. I think they're trying to do a presentation out front. I think so too. What did I say nice about my team earlier? How well you guys work together and that you appreciate they're here. Right. Yeah, you see it's the wrong team. Okay, she now acknowledges. Yeah, that's the wrong so we have a screen in the studio where we get to read everybody's comments and things as they come in, and my front office staff just decided to hijack it. So anyway, that's fine. All right. We're still there. Let's talk about the Save Act, as it were, that he's that Trump is discussing. you know, what is wrong with verifying if you're a citizen the vote in our elections? I I think it's one of the greatest things that you get to to be as a citizen, so why you wouldn't safeguard that is beyond me. I so in my travels this weekend I listen to some other podcasts 'cause you know, I I like listening to you and I, but sometimes I like to hear some other stuff. And there's one called, Well, there's history that doesn't suck and then the same guy now does government that doesn't suck. And it was the inaugural episode and He discussed with another co-host how the they call them the OG founders. Okay, so you're Jefferson, you know, all those guys. Those are the OG founders. But that the mindset they have is that we currently citizens are founders because we have the ability to change our government with our votes. So Well, we can't change the founding fathers' documents. Well, no, but we we have the same we're imbued with the same rights that they had. Right. And that we ch we can make change through our voting process. That's why it's so very important. But it's also why it's so very important to safeguard because other people come to this country and their vote counts as much as the next person once they're naturalized. Right. So and so that's like the biggest d democratization around the world. No other country does that. Right. So to protect so to be a founder mindset, imagine that. We can change the constitution if we wanted to. If enough people said so. If enough people said so. We even changed it and then we decided to change it back. Right. With prohibition. Was eighteenth and twenty first, I think. but do we want foreigners voting in our elections? I don't. I mean they're I'm my father came over here a and and he had the and and he was not a citizen here. He got his citizenship and had never voted until like twenty five, thirty years ago. Right. So no, I don't and and I I love my daddy, he's my daddy. But if you're not a citizen, you don't get a vote. How why would a a foreigner get a vote on how we run our country? That makes no sense. No sense at all. And so how much do you think China really okay, so let's talk about Chinese interference for a minute because I think the perception is that we had little Chinese guys going to the polls and stuffing ballot boxes. But when we say that China interfered with our elections I think we're looking at more broad. I know it's Actually he was very specific when he said it. He said the actually the follow up was very specific when I watched it on gro I think it's ground news. There's they do by like both sides. but the idea is that because the Chinese run TikTok and social media is that they've taken our voter rolls that our information and how we voted, and then they send use specific messages to try and get you to change your mind because most people are im yeah you know impressionable psyops. Right. So then they start feeding stuff into. So I was getting and it's funny because I did I'm by far not a leftist. By far. You are not a leftist. Okay. But I was getting stuff and I'm like w where is this coming from? Why on earth would I think that? No. S no. No But for a period of time I was getting some weird things that don't coincide with me or my beliefs. So and chillingly, I was thinking, you know, China did the same thing in elections that regular politicians do. We geofence, we send you know, we text message, we send emails and stuff. But we are American citizens. That's true. But this is a foreign government trying to influence our election. So I People I think need to know that distinction that it's not just somebody stuffing a ballot box. Right. That it's it's public opinion. Right. They also have the backroom data and stuff about what you look at. When you geofence, you're just hitting people that live in an area because that's where you they're saying, this person knows this, believes this, goes. I asked you before the show, like, all right, what what voter data could have been stolen? Because, you know To my knowledge, if I want to go find out not how you voted, but if you're registered to vote, that's public down at the Board of Elections. And whatever ballot that I pulled for the what's it called? The primary primary. Yeah. So But I don't know what you voted. That's what I'm seeing. That's what people don't think. Yeah, they didn't get their vote tick. Well, even working for Board of Elections, when you you have that scanner to s you're supposed to scan the authorization to vote that they print and you sign. When you're scanning it, all they're doing is matching that. To the correct ballot type you're supposed to use. Okay. They're not like tracking your ballot so they can pull it later and say, I don't know. You know what? I'm gonna leave that. Are you gonna prove it that really? Yeah. Okay. Prove it. All right. Well I've never seen them go back and do it. Well no, but you're but when you s sign in, you're you've got a a a voter ID number and they scan your bottom it's somewhere. Somewhere someplace. But all the barcodes are the same. Are they? Yeah, yeah. I mean they all have the same number. I don't believe you. Okay. I'm gonna have to we'll get a batch. All right. All right, Board of Election. Anybody watching, we want a batch of ballots. No, wait a minute. Wait a minute. You did not no no, we don't want a batch of ballots. No, let's okay, no, you keep the ballots. Okay, never mind. So let's talk about the networks being insolent children. I guess I just frame that the way I feel about it. Yep. They they're one hundred percent wrong. I think that if you're getting free it it is your duty as CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, even Fox. It is your duty to send the presidential address because they're getting free air. the the if you were like on CNN now or is that what it's called now? C or MBC now or whatever and that's a cable that's a syndicated, you don't have to show anything you don't want to. Basically in the public trust that the FCC is granted licenses to these broadcasting networks. And the obligation was that they're supposed to have a news, an informative session every every day, I think for an hour or whatever it was. But see, I don't know if those still apply. But w just out of curiosity, if you're of one of those persuasions that watch those channels, then how do you feel about the fact that you're the people that are running that network have decided that you don't need to hear that? Do you do you not find that offensive? It's very offensive, but the the thing is, and I've seen the excuses of its editorial decision and that they said that a presidential address in the midterms is election but electioneering. But Trump isn't running for anything. That's exactly already pointed that out. He's not running for anything and he's not gonna run for anything in the future. He didn't say rah rah Republican. No, he did not. He said unless I missed it. He just said he did not pass the Save Act. Yes. passed the Save Act. That's And he gave you reasons why. So all right. Well I speaking of the Save Act, what do you think of the Save Act? What do you know about it? Yeah. I mean it to me it's common sense and if you don't want it, then there's some compelling reason that you want to cheat. But I'm gonna put this poll up for our viewers, should proof of citizenship be required to register to vote? So we were discussing how hard is it to get proof of citizenship. Okay. Well if you have a real ID you had to do proof of f citizenship. Okay. But if you're going to pass something like that, all you need is a birth certificate. All right. And how hard is that to get a 'cause listen, Mrs. Pappas has all of my documents. So I mean I I'm in a special category. But you know where to get them, right? I go to my mommy. Okay. Very good. Well, a normal human being that doesn't, you know, rely on their mommy for everything. A goes to the county that they were born in to the Register of Deeds and says, I was born in this year on this date and you get a copy. And you know what we could do Do they make you have an ID though? No, you have to put in writing and then you get a Yeah. But y 'cause I don't live in Long Beach, it would be pretty difficult for me to give them my ID or whatever. But you do you say I wonder if they make you have an ID to get what you need to get I'll ask my son 'cause he recently got his cause I gave him That be a government paradox. Yeah for all paradox. ID or and so then the the other thing was, well mar women don't always have the same name for every Well, in order to get married I had to have what is this thing called? A birth certificate. You needed supervision is what you needed, but anyway whatever. No. I had my birth certificate. I got my marriage certificate. And then now I still have a copy of not only my birth certificate, my marriage certificate, but my divorce certificates too. Did you frame that one? No. okay. I love every ex that I've ever had because at one point in time we were very good friends or whatever. I have no ill will towards anybody. My exes are some of the best men in the world. I hope you at least had a phase to get some of the energy out. Some of the evil energy. I have no evil energy. I'm all good. Something evil this way. Okay. So I left the poll up so we'll see who wants to respond to the chat on that. so What about you? Do you have would would it be do you think it would be hard to get your sis your your birth certificate if you didn't have your No, I don't think so. I mean but I 'cause where were you born? I was born right here in Fayetteville. So where would you go? I would go to the courthouse. I I mean that's just where I would go, but I also am a little smarter than the average bear, despite some Facebook comments this weekend, but you know. But that's just like a th that that's a basic element. And if you don't know and you really care that much and you want to vote, then go down to the Board of Elections and ask them. It's definitely enough runway for between now and the election for you to get your stuff squared away. I mean it i it does seem like if you do want to participate, then participate. Right. And if you're not smart people that don't want a checking account. And let me just tell you something. If you're not smart enough to get your birth certificate or figure out how to show that you're a U citizen, I don't want you voting. Yeah. No, I don't yeah. I'm okay with you not voting. I am I love voting and I love the American right to vote. But if you're that dumb and you don't know how to get a birth certificate, you don't need to vote. Totally. I totally agree with that. So so here's a twist nobody in Washington did see coming. the loudest man standing in the president's way not to pass the Save Act, it's not Chuck Schumer. Nope. He's a Republican and he is our one and only Tom Till Senator Tom Tillis. Yep. So He Tom Tillis took the Senate floor and vowed to use every device I have available to slow down the wheels of government, to stop the Save America Act. So a retiring North Carolina Republican versus a Republican president, this is the fight of the summer. It sure is. I'm so glad he's not running again. So, you know, so Senator Tillis, he blocked he's blocking the president's number one priority. but North Carolina's voter ID already passed. Yep. So this is not Republicans versus Democrats. It's a fight inside the conservatism about federalism practically and whether you change election rule fifteen weeks before an election. Yeah, sure. So both of these men say they want secure elections. The difference is Trump wants one national rule book written in Washington, and Tilly says fifty states already wrote theirs, and some of the most secure mail in voting systems in America are run by Republicans. So I what's the beef, Tom? Yeah, if I don't mo I don't want the federal government running elections. One hundred percent. Yeah, I think that's a bad idea. But I think that there should be some basics that you have to provide to vote. And that can be federalized, but I think you need to prove that you're a citizen. Well, at least to vote in federal elections. At least to vote in federal elections. What you do with your state and you wanna run your state into the ground and let foreigners decide for you, that's a you issue. Yeah. I mean if you wanna I don't remember what cities or of course it had to be someplace up north, I'm sure. They wanted to have non citizen aliens vote in municipal That was New York. Was it New York? okay. How's that working out for right now? Yeah. But I know that when they were doing all the immigration, the illegal immigrants and stuff like that, I know that they were talking about we need to get more in this city and that city to get more what? Democrats because that the more people they 'cause the Well more people you give the government cheese to, the more they're gonna vote your way. Okay. So I I I I feel like that only citizens should vote. It should not be a question mark. my ID I have to use in my daily life. So I mean, what is the beef? I mean well, I think that Olive Garden has a stricter policy than our voter registration. You're not you're not wrong. I'm gonna put up some elements of the Save Act right now. But no, you about the Olive Garden all you can eat pasta thing. What about it? Okay, so they have this monthly thing that you can join and you give them your ID and you sign up. And then in order to be able to eat your never ending pasta for the month, you show your ID in order to get your pasta. No. No, it's you're it's links to your ID. So all the so you go in there with your o your ID and you're like, Hey, that way you can't take my Olive Garden man thing or whatever. So Olive Garden is more secure than our electricity. I don't think I'm gonna try to cheat Olive Garden. I don't think the stuff's that good. So, you know I'm just saying. Yeah. I So yeah, Again, this to me is the same s baseless argument for voter ID that well no, it disenfranchises. Does it or are you too racist to think that a certain group of people are smart enough to go get their own damn ID? Women that get married lose their brains. yeah. And totally those of us that are brown or of darker s persuasion, we're not smart enough to get an ID either. So I'm I'm losing out twice. I'm really dumb because I'm married and I love darker persuasion. So I did say you need your license revoked and you need supervision. We've already determined that. yeah, I I just to me this this thing is just kind of a no brainer. I agree. And I is there any other way to look at aside from the the false BS scare tactic of it's gonna disenfranchise those people of color, is there any other way to look at this but that The other side, the Democrats, are trying to cheat. But there's an eighty this is an eighty twenty issue. So I have family members that are all Democrats. I'm the only Republican for the most part. Other than the people that I created, they're all Republicans. But if I didn't smarter side of the family as well. So I we I they all agree that you should have an ID to vote. They don't think we should clean up our voter rolls though. Mm-hmm. That doesn't make any sense. But that's beside the point. Well and So I But this is an eighty twenty issue. The only people that are saying let's not do it this way are the ones that are in office. So if your job is to represent the people, if this is an eighty twenty dish issue, go do your job. Right. Represent the people. Right. Well, having again having worked at the board, I know there are certain people that have been on there. when we would run into somebody that had a birthday of nineteen hundred, mm-hmm, it's because they had not voted in a long time and systems change that didn't carry over the birthday. So then they came in to vote and you would just update their birthday. Right. That's it. If somebody was born in nineteen hundred right now, there's a problem. There's a little problem. Well my point is in in that instance you're dealing with a database that was, you know, updated and then that was it what was the default was well there's no date of birth, so put in January first, nineteen hundred. And then when they come in it would flag you know, update. the other thing though I know for a fact, gentleman came in to vote years ago and he says, I'm gonna give you two other names. Okay. So he gave me he gave me h I mean, he was like a neighborhood guy, we knew him, and he says, Do me a favor, just run this name, run that name and we typed it in. They were both active voters. one was his wife who had just passed away, maybe within six months. The other was his son who was K I A Iraq. wow. For years before. They were still showing his active Voters. We need to clean up we need to clean this up. Well, okay, well you you should coordinate. Well I know that now they coordinate with vote juries jury summons, I guess. This is something new. DMV and the courthouse and Board of Elections are all supposed to end up talking to each other. They should because if you check if you can't do jury s jury duty because you're not a citizen Then guess what? You don't get to vote because you're not a citizen. That's exactly right. So they're coordinating. But to to h how long should it be before 'cause there's a lot of deaths and and and births and all of that stuff. How how long does it take to get off the rolls? And then what happens and how happened last election that somebody died. They voted early. They died and now you're not alive on election date. You're so you're checking you cannot tell me that these aren't linked to people because your vote no longer counts. Right. Well, how do you know what I voted if it's not linked to me? I think luckily that was a provisional to begin with. Or a mail in or something that had to be sort had to be That had to be linked to me. Well yeah, but if it's in the envelope then yeah it'll be. Hm. I don't know. That that's a good question. But I mean that does that is another element to this, you know? I we have dead people on our rolls. We have whole cemeteries full of active voters. Nice. Usually they're vote Democrat though. I I wouldn't know. I I've never done an audit of it, so I would hate to make a blanket statement like that, even though that may be possibly what I believe. But that would be me making an a state an assumption. Right. Well, all right. I've had enough about this Washington bull crap. Let's talk about what this would actually mean at the Board of Elections office down there at Fountainhead Lane. Well, Cumberland County County may not have the most reliable I'm sorry. Yes, we do. Cumberla Cumberland County, Maine have the most mobile electric in America. Fort Bragg deployments, PCS moves, overseas families, nobody in this debate has more skin in the g mail in mail in ballot game than we do. That's true. I mean, you know, Washington wants to argue about mail in ballots, but it's in the abstract. I don't think people understand how that affects you know, I think about a soldier from Fort Bragg over deployed overseas. His wife has three kids on her hand. a mailbox back here and both of them trying to vote and this is where policy is gonna meet the reality. I mean a lot and a lot of people understand well that's too yeah some people well that probably means how many deployments he's been on. Three three deployments. That's probably how that works. That's a correlation here in Fayetteville I have learned. ca however, comma yeah you corrected me on that. one thing that I believe we were discussing last couple election cycles was that majority of people living on Fort Bragg don't realize that they can vote in Cumberland County elections. They sure can. So they won't lose their citizens like I think some people didn't want to register to vote here because they had some really sweet tax deals from like another state Florida or whatever. but one doesn't affect the other. That's correct. So you have a whole voting block of people out on Fort Bragg that could influence your local election, but we're not being engaged to. That's correct. Because the there's actually a a a company that's been created called Active Duty Votes that is working on on on getting that taken care of and going to Washington and getting some funding in order to let the military know that you can vote leg legally in the area in which you live. It does not I don't know how I feel about the ones living in the barracks, but the ones that certainly live, work and play in the city of Fayetteville and Cumberland County, I think so. Why wouldn't the people Because the guys that are in the barracks they don't really they're drive the roads? Do they? I mean, they're usually the younger Don't they are they're they're investing their time. If they invest their time into a a a and they're spending their money, they're using their tax dollars, they they pay sales tax. They pay their different taxes. Yeah, always a good point. You know, always a good point. I just when I think of a guy living in the barracks, I'm thinking probably doesn't have a car. He's from Podunk, Iowa, someplace. he's just a young kid. I mean, you know, usually I don't think you have the upper Echelon guys that maybe maybe paying property taxes here and all. so only property tax people should okay. I don't see I mean back in the day. Yeah. Only property people. I'm not gonna go the rest of that. I know where you're going. I don't but I don't know. Maybe Protestants. I don't know. I mean if you live in the barracks, you're spending your money here. You're paying taxes, you're Driving on the roads. Okay. And if you care enough to go 'cause most of don't even care enough anyway, to be honest. But if you care enough to go and vote, I want your vote. Okay. All right. Well, you barracks dwellers, you're welcome to. Yeah. Come vote in Cumberland County elections. There's still time to register. Yeah. You can come by the care the Republican Candidate Resource Center and we will take your registration. So I wonder I don't think we had many issues with mail in ballots last cycle. I think there was a handful. No, we I think we had like seventy six or something. It was not a large number if I remember correctly. For a presidential election, that's not Yeah. I I could be wrong. I I mean that's low. It w it wasn't very many, but yeah. Well whatever. But I mean the pe the the woman that's at home with her three kids that has to go vote if you care enough. You'll go vote. I mean there is I'm there's like eighteen days of early voting. You can get a day when your kids are in school or whatever to go and vote. Do you do you support redu or how do you feel about reducing early voting periods? I think we should be voting on one day and one day only. However, comma, I am willing to consider up to five days. After that I think it's excessive. Yeah. It's a lot of work for the candidates to have to man all of these places. I think it's it encourages, in my opinion, harassment of people and voter fraud. I think five days you can bec unl unless we're gonna make it a national holiday, voting where everything is closed. Everything. Everything is closed. I'm not closing. Well, you're a restaurant. But it you're you you have to require are you okay, all employees are required to have no all employees. Keep them working. All all People are allowed to have four hours off to go vote because you know, you're required to not be working at or have off time within four hours of the voting, which is like from six o'clock in the morning till eight o'clock. But they have to bring a receipt of voting. No, you don't have to bring anything. You just get four hours off. If you want to I can see a cottage industry coming up of like selling those I voted stickers. Yeah. So you get your four hours pay at work. There you go. so all of the Save America Act stuff is gonna be implemented by Kermel County Board of Elections locally. wondering if they have funding for anything extra if the Save Act gets passed. What do they have to do that's extra? scrub the rolls. They're already doing that. Do they? They're already doing that. Of non citizens or does they're already doing that. We have a an auditor who has overseeing the Board of Elections and ha is scrubbing everything. I don't know, but North Carolina is very well taken care of. He's killing it man. It's election season after all, so it's time to start inviting or guilting or strong arming some of these. We're not strong arming anyone and we're so easy to get well, some of us are easy to go. Should it should proof of citizenship be required to register to vote? And we do want people to vote in the comments, I believe if you agree with that. Yes. And photo ID two A, yes, but current ID should count. And C no existing safeguards work. So if you think we have enough safeguards in place, just let us know. but I do want to mention, I mentioned this before the show. Remember that poll that came out a week or so ago about Cooper versus Watley? And there's only four four points between the two of them? Yeah, that that's all that's separated. Mm-hmm. I I keep thinking about that. yeah? What are you thinking? Well, China interfered in our elections, right? Mm-hmm. So what's to keep the DNC from interfering in our elections? By doing me, I feel like they got a is it a a false flag operation? Like They're saying over they run this survey, they say, Hey, we're Democrats, and we're telling you your boy's only four points behind. Uh-huh. So what's we're still behind? What would that say to Republicans that are on the fence, maybe aren't a big fan or just are apathetic generally? I think that would drive them to become more apathetic. Does it, or does it does it drive the Democrats to say, our guy's winning anyway? I'm afraid of both. Right. Actually I'm not afraid of the latter. I they think their guy's winning. Please but Yeah. You know I don't wanna say because the person was arrested for making a a post about not going to the polls. So I don't want to make a joke and say, you know, your guy's winning, you don't need to go vote. I just I I just was thinking about the the value of that and I always usually when I see these these polls I always take it with a grain of salt. there was a poll a little while ago about Governor McCrory and somebody else. and the news and observer covered the poll, but what got me was that they said, and the the survey was run by such and such company who happens to be McCrory's nephew. And I'm thinking to myself, I know these guys. They're not gonna jeopardize their integrity and their business right to sway something 'cause it wasn't a Republican Democrat thing. It was just, what do you think about McCrory's conservativism or something like his name recognition or whatever? But that's exactly where the N and O went, but I didn't see the same feedback on the Democrat led poll. I didn't hear and you know, Democrats did it. well, you know, y you can look at a poll one where we're four points behind, but there's a plus I believe that margin was plus or minus three. So we could be as much as seven points. Yeah, we were in so it was like four points of the it was four. I think it w no, it was four. Okay. That's so we could be as much as eight points behind. So you need to show up and vote. Hold your nose. Mm-hmm. Make the vote for the Republican candidate and do what's best for the country. Well, we had Andy Nilss Don Brown here a couple of weeks ago, you know, trying to get out the vote. And I think it is very, very important. I I hate the the moniker that ev this election is the most important of your life, but as current founders, like I think I like that idea. As current founders of the c of the United States, I think it's important that we do vote and we do treat every election as it is the most important in our lives. Every every election is because look what's happening in New York City. You have a socialist person. You have they they won like thirteen different the socialist, the Democratic Socialist Assembly or whatever that's taking over the Democratic Party has won like thirteen or fourteen different elections. So every vote is the most important vote if you don't want to give up your God given rights. So do you remember it was been about a week when Mom Dani released the immigrant enclave maps? yes, and they didn't And he omitted Little Italy, he omitted so I actually wasn't too nice to some of my Greek brethren up there. I because throughout the comments I found out that Mam Dani represented the area where Greek town is. And I'm like, how the hell did you let that guy win that seat to represent you? And why was that okay? And now you see what he's doing. Right. He's trying to erase your heritage. He's trying to erase you from the map. That's right. And so anyway, so it's a little smack to some of the Greeks up there, like, you guys let you let him buy with this garbage. That's right. You were Democrat. What is wrong with you? You just vote Democrat just because you need to look at who you're voting for and what they believe. Because now they don't want to defund the police. They're no, they don't. They want to abolish The police department and prisons. No, across the country. All of these democratic socialists, this is right there on their website. They want to do away with the Senate. They want to get away with the pres do away with the presidency. Mm-hmm. and they want to abolish, which means no more. It doesn't mean defund, it doesn't mean put money elsewhere, it means do away with jails and prisons. I don't know, comrade. That sounds awful familiar. Yeah. Are they doing away with it and gonna put start putting people to death? Are they doing away with it so that they can leave these criminals that are killing each other out? this time it'll be different. This time it'll be different. Yes, because the hundreds of years of of the past mean nothing. The hundreds of millions of lives lost. Right. Forget that. But I nobody ever follows up that question. No, they don't abolish the police or I mean the these prisons. Well like Senator Kennedy from Louisiana said, if you don't like the police Next time you're in trouble, call a crackhead. There go.
