With 17 years of honorable service in the United States Army, he achieved the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Two, specializing in information systems technology with concentrations in cybersecurity and information assurance.

Robert's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and an MBA in Cybersecurity. These qualifications have equipped him with a unique skill set, blending technical expertise with strategic business acumen. Robert's love for basketball stems from years of competing at the high school, college, and semi-professional levels, including playing overseas. This passion has now transitioned into ownership of the Fayetteville Liberty, a TBL pro-development basketball team. Under his leadership, the Fayetteville Liberty aims to restore hope and build community by creating opportunities for athletes to grow both on and off the court. His guiding philosophy, "It's not always equal, but it is equal sacrifice and effort-one team, on the court and in the community," reflects his dedication to fostering unity and progress.

In addition to his work in sports, Robert is an accomplished entrepreneur, owning a media company that produces content for highly regarded platforms while building an independent platform boasting 25,000 followers, subscribers, and supporters. His media ventures demonstrate his commitment to connecting and inspiring audiences through innovative content.

Above all, Robert is a devoted son to Robert Sr. Rhonda Edwards, and father to three children, with a focus on establishing legacy of opportunity and success for his family.
