Mario Benavente is a 2-two term Fayetteville City Councilman, and Criminal Defense Attorney at Rand & Gregory PA. A graduate of EE Smith High School, Mario went on to earn his undergraduate degree in Peace, War and Defense from UNC Chapel Hill, and his Juris Doctor from NC Central University School of Law. During his time on City Council, public safety has been his top priority and he successfully ushered in an Office of Community Safety in Fayetteville to address those issues with a public health approach.
