– A Proven Leader with a Vision for Fayetteville – Clifton Johnson is a proud graduate of Seventy First High School. (Fly Falcons Fly) He pursued higher education at North Carolina A&T State University and later earned degrees from Excelsior College (BS), Webster University (MS), and Liberty University (DESL). With over 20 years of combined military service and academic achievement, Clifton has remained committed to public service and building teams of highly skilled professionals.
Beyond his military career, Johnson has remained deeply involved in civic life. He is an active member of The Hampton Roads Chapter of ROCKS, INC., a mentorship organization supporting military professionals, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Joint Fort Bragg and Cumberland County Food Policy Council, where he championed food security and sustainable policy initiatives.

His dedication to collaborative leadership, exceptional service, and community-focused care continues to shape his vision for a stronger Fayetteville. Clifton is driven by a relentless pursuit of progress and remains focused on expanding opportunities that serve the evolving needs of the region.
